Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 Oct 2026
This policy explains what personal data HelpTest collects when you visit this website or buy our products, why we use it and the rights you have under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
Who we are
HelpTest is an independent brand run by a private individual, not a company. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us at contact@helptest.online.
What we collect
Cookies and similar technologies: only with your consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure our adverts. It can collect the pages you visit, the buttons you click, your IP address and information about your device and browser.
Purchases: payments are processed by Hotmart, the platform that takes payment and delivers our products. Hotmart collects your payment details and shares with us your name, email address, country and order details so we can give you access and support. We never see your full card details.
Emails: if you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply.
Why we use it and our legal bases
To deliver what you bought and support you (contract).
To measure and improve our adverts with the Meta Pixel (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
To keep the records the law requires, such as tax records (legal obligation).
To prevent fraud and protect our business (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
Hotmart (payments, delivery and members area), Meta Platforms (advert measurement, only with your consent) and our hosting and email providers. Some of them are outside the UK and the EU; where that happens, data is transferred with the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records: as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data.
Cookies
Strictly necessary storage remembers your cookie choice. Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) are only loaded after you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw your consent. Email contact@helptest.online. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.
